POSITION: INTERN

Interns at Red Hills Strategies will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of strategic communications and public policy. Red Hills is a team of 10 with expansive experience across the political sphere, and this is an opportunity for a college student looking to gain perspective on all things public affairs.   

Interns will be asked to support team members in a variety of public affairs efforts, including:   

• Monitoring news and social media efforts  

• Drafting press releases, media advisories and other written content  

• Creating media lists   

• Supporting execution of client events like ‘Days at the Capitol’   

• Drafting media summaries and annual reports   

• Performing office management tasks   

We are seeking candidates who are demonstrated problem-solvers with self-starter approaches and can-do attitudes. Experience in public relations, policy or graphic design is recommended.    

Interns are expected to complete approximately 15 to 20 hours of work per week. Internships take place in person at our downtown Tallahassee office. Pay is commensurate with experience.
